Case study / Defense tech

Mission-grade AI has to be seen in the field before buyers believe it in the boardroom.

DataShapes AI needed a sharper way to answer the defense buyer’s first practical question: “How do I use this?” Liquid GTM turned the product story into a short mission scenario that shows the technology at the moment it matters.

01 / The challenge

Defense-first AI needed a use case buyers could understand fast.

DataShapes AI sells into a market where generic AI language does not carry enough weight. Prospects, partners, executives, board members, and investors needed to understand mission fit without sitting through another abstract product explanation.

The sales problem was direct: “How do I use this?” The answer had to feel specific to defense work without slipping into false defense theater. It needed to communicate quickly, respect the seriousness of the environment, and make the product’s role clear before attention moved elsewhere.

The market pressure was immediate. DataShapes AI had to communicate to prospects, leadership, investors, and the board with content that could make the product legible in a high-stakes environment and useful in real sales conversations.

02 / The approach

We put the product inside a mission already under pressure.

Liquid GTM built the story around an immersive field scenario: a mission is underway, communications are jammed, uncertainty rises, and the team needs to find the source before the mission stalls.

DataShapes AI appears at the moment of consequence. The scenario shows the technology helping locate the jamming source, block it, and allow the mission to continue. The piece uses minimal words and a controlled, modern, defense-native visual language so the audience can understand the use case through action instead of explanation.

The creative decision was to make the product earn its place in the sequence. The viewer does not receive a feature inventory. The viewer sees pressure, signal loss, recovery, and the capability that changes what the mission team can do next.

03 / The outcome

A sharper answer for sales, investor, and board conversations.

The final asset gave DataShapes AI a cinematic product-in-action film that answered “How do I use this?” with a field scenario instead of a generic AI explainer.

The film shows how the technology can change the course of a mission while warfighters are still in the field. It gave the team a stronger asset for market, investor, board, and sales pressure, with strong response from executives, board members, and key prospects.

The video turned an abstract AI capability into an intuitive mission story, and did it quickly enough to match the company’s market pressure.
